For Teachers

This section is for teachers to use when sharing my books with their classes. My Writing Tips, along with the Classroom Activities below, are intended to share the joy of creating stories by opening the doors to our imagination and sharing our ideas with others.

RESOURCES

1. The John F. Kennedy Center for Performing Arts "Partners in Education" Touring Program.

This program provides resources for schools interested in professional development for teachers using an arts-integrated approach to learning. Amy will be one of 30 artists available to teach workshops nationally.

CLASSROOM ACTIVITIES

The following classroom activities and discussion points were developed by me, taken from published texts, or sent in by teachers across the country. If you have ideas for other activities, contact me and I will be happy to add them to these, and give you credit.
